Building Stronger Foundations for Growing Bodies and Minds

Why Movement Matters More Than Ever
Less than 1 in 4 Australian children meet the recommended 60 minutes of daily physical activity.
22% are developmentally vulnerable when they start school. And children born this decade are predicted to have a shorter life expectancy than their parents.
This isn't just a fitness issue — it's a developmental one. Core strength is the foundation for how children learn to sit, write, regulate emotions, and engage socially. When children don't move enough, it shows up everywhere.

Every child deserves the chance to thrive.
And movement is where it starts.
Kids Heart Pilates creates inclusive, supportive environments where children of all abilities are empowered through joyful, engaging movement experiences. As leaders in paediatric exercise-based therapy, we partner with families, educators, and allied health teams to nurture physical literacy, motor skills, emotional regulation, and social development — providing early intervention that builds the foundation for lifelong confidence and health.
The Science behind the movement.
Research confirms Pilates improves muscle strength, postural control, core stability, flexibility, and quality of life in children (Hornsby et al, 2020). Core strength sits at the foundation of all five key areas of child development — physical, sensory, cognitive, social-emotional, and language.
All sessions are delivered by Accredited Exercise Physiologists with specialist paediatric training, founded on over 14 years of clinical expertise.
